Iron Way Films painstakingly created the world of Tommy Hearts Anna by combining traditional 2D cell animation with stop motion 3D models built from paper and wire. All work was photographed with only a few specific effects created in post production with after effects. Talented motion animator Jessica Wilson-Silas brought the characters to life, famed illustrator Ryan Cox designed the faces of all the characters, Sam Ita created the 3D pop-up models/character design and set painter Joe Craig painted in the background detail. Together, our team created a unique and raw look to enhance the simple message of hunger in America.

Creating a PSA for NYC’s most effective non profit for victims of violence and abuse allowed us to dig deep and find the hopeful, empowering message that they needed to communicate. Using all volunteer actors and real employees we were able to capture a heartfelt and realistic snapshot of Safe Horizon and the lives they are able to touch.

We are thrilled to be working with this incredible DC based environmental education organization. Our PSA will be part of an ongoing push to engage diverse audiences within environmental causes.

For three years Iron Way developed and produced US Open’s green messaging with USTA. This last installment, in collaboration with The Martin Agency, starred an always enigmatic Alec Baldwin.

Our favorite, however, was the second year we worked with USTA. And this video, shot on the Red Camera, ran across the jumbotron during the Open as well as ESPN and The Tennis Channel.

To capture the spirit of Benetech and their powerful message, using technology to change the world, required an enigmatic and inspiring spokesperson. Luckily, their founder and CEO Jim Fruchterman was available. We recorded Jim speaking to students at his Alma Mater Stanford and created a video spanning the breadth of achievement a single idea can have to change the world.

The work we did for Ogilvy’s ‘Togetherists’ campaign is a great example of our ability to tackle a project from any side. Iron Way was tasked with producing the web series and creating original music. This five-part video advertising campaign was featured extensively across the web.
